A home energy audit incorporates a visual inspection with specialized testing to identify areas where your home is wasting energy. Experts may also find issues like moisture damage, inadequate insulation, and safety hazards. It’s an excellent starting point for home safety and efficiency.

What is expected of me to be accepted into the program?

You’ll need to work with a Trade Ally contractor and confirm that your utility company participates. For income-qualified rebates, you must meet household income requirements and apply for the higher rebate level. Once the work is done, Wisconsin Home Improvement will complete the Focus on Energy application and submit the required documentation within 60 days.
