Wisconsin’s Rebate Program for Energy

Focus on Energy operates in conjunction with participating utility companies to deliver measurable savings for residents and businesses throughout the state. Since 2011, more than 2.8 million Wisconsin residents and businesses have saved energy and money through the program. Focus on Energy makes energy efficient home improvements accessible and affordable for many people.

Eligibility Requirements for the Homeowner

The Focus on Energy program offers two types of incentives: standard and income qualified. Income qualified incentives offer higher rebates on qualifying upgrades. To see if you meet the requirements, fill out the form below. Even if you don’t meet the income qualifications, you can still qualify for a standard rebate, allowing you to save money on the upgrades you need. Please note you must be a customer of a participating energy provider to qualify for these rebates.

What is expected of me to be accepted into the program?

You’ll need to work with a Trade Ally contractor and confirm that your utility company participates. For income-qualified rebates, you must meet household income requirements and apply for the higher rebate level. Once the work is done, Wisconsin Home Improvement will complete the Focus on Energy application and submit the required documentation within 60 days.
